COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Nibs (8.5%ABV) is a delicious dark imperial porter made with cacao nibs from the Wellington Chocolate Factory, vanilla pods, and coconut toasted over manuka wood and manuka bark. Imperial Nibs is bursting with intense chewy flavours of bitter chocolate, wood-fired toasted coconut, burnt toffee, & mellow maltiness.

Bottle 0.5l. Clear, dark-brown colour. Short, beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is full of dark, bitter chocolate, cacao and subtle note of vanilla. There is also a lot of cocolate and cacao in taste. Beer is medium body, bitter at the beginning and sweet in aftertaste with a little bit astringent finish. It warms inside and burns a little bit in the throat but all is very nice. Decent porter with very clear notes of added ingredients especially cacao nibs.

Draft at Braxton Labs. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have dark malts, coconut, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, very tasty.

Lots of layers to this beer. The initial perception is this is one dimensional with too much vanilla. After additional tasting layers of coconut and slight licorice come through. See it on tap - try it.

Pours inky black. This is one of those strange beers that delivers more strongly with taste than smell. Rather subdued aroma of toffee and treacle. Whalloping flavour of vanilla, rum, coffee and chocolate. Definitely allow this beer to warm a little before drinking ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours very dark brown with a small head. Nose shows bready malt, vanilla and cocoa. Sweet flavours, including heavy vanilla and some cocoa. A bit of light roasted malt to balanace things.
