3/25/17. On tap at The Craft Bar, Destin. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Plain malty aroma. Watery flavor, grainy... plain... basically no salt and no sour. Hmm.

Bottle - pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheat, salt and a little citrus. Taste is not very gose like, malty and if anything a bit sweet, struggling to find the seaweed or salt!

500ml bottle. Very pale hazy straw color with Ok head. Not much of an aroma - maybe some grain with a touch of salt. Bitterness is slight with residual salt but ultimately thin body. OK but nothing overly exiting.

Straw colour, slightly hazy. Nose is salt, wheat. Taste is pretty bland really, touch of the seaweed and a little salt. No noticeable tartness to me. Bit boring.

[Bottle (330ml) shared w/ HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a hazy very pale gold with almost no head. Mild aroma of salt, soda water, light vegetal notes and fruit. Flavours a bit better, with fruit, pale malt, light salt and a bit of grassiness. Average bodied. Just O.K.

Cellar clean out session Pt Deux. Hazy paleish gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malys, mildly sweet. Modest floral sweetness. Mild savoury mid and then a nice light generic fruit vibe that gets a little tropical. Light crisp finish. Pretty light but beguiling.

2016-06-29. Lightly hazy yellow body small white head. 3+ Aroma is a bit strange, light pale malt and odd salty fruit character. Flavour is better, lightly sour, lightly salty, lightly cereally pale malt. Average bodied palate, light carbonation. Odd, okay. 5/3/6/3/11-12 Bottle from Regional Wines and Spirits, Wellington, NZ.

The aroma is of sea salt, and the wheat flavour is topped with a splash of lemon. Theres an interesting sweet and sour balance in the beer, teetering like two kids on a see-saw. Minor bitterness so each sip is a pleasure... the salty isnt overpowering as one might think given the name of the beer. I find that it goes really well with sweets, or gummy candy, which I wouldnt normally eat with beer, but it works.
