330ml bottle. Pours a beautiful orange red. Honey, caramel, biscuit, dried apricot, little elderflower, long biscuit caramel finish. A well crafted ale. Skarecrow (741) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 8, 2016
500ml bottle BB 10/17
Gold color with good head.
Grainy, dusty, sawdust aroma - no honey to speak of.
Mild bitterness with slight malt. Also soapy and quite sweet with a bland finish.
Not one of their better Brews. beer-yum (1706) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 24, 2016
Restrained aroma in a golden amber pour. A brew that manages to hit the middle of the bat in most respects - and is a refreshing brew because of it. GlassBrass440 (321) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 13, 2014
Honey aroma. Clean malt flavor with some mead-like character. Color is golden with no head. Semi-sweet finish and high carbonation. Not bad for an afternoon barbecue. joe19612 (2923) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2014
Tap at Brothers Auckland. Pours a light gold colour, fruit aroma, taste is light with honey with a short dry finish.

Although it looks uggly murky, this is a very nice beer, with honey in the aroma and flavour, plus hops - yes, floral - and a salty bitterness. Although everything is quite subtle, especially if served rather cold as I had it, crispy, it feels great for a session in an early summer evening. Quite a salty finish. Super cute beer. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 16, 2013
The head is good, the body golden. It smells honey-bitter, bit hoppy, fresh, malty. The taste is honey-aromatic, hoppy, maltaromatic. Bit more bitter in the aftertaste.
