Pretty decent big IPA…dark orange color. Slight pine, big citrus and tropical fruit. booze is there, really sweet, pale malts, and lots of fruitiness. Thick mouthfeel. ebone1988 (2163) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is sweet, tropical fruit, pine, malt, bitter. Appearance is dark gold, off-white head. Taste is tropical fruit, malt, nice piny bitterness, dank as you swallow. Mouthfeel is good, great carbonation but just a touch light. Overall, it’s pretty good but leaves room for improvement. koleminer20 (4091) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2015
22 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. The pour is a deep orange color with a thin off white head and some pretty good lace hanging around. The aroma is heavy malts and tropical fruits. There is a little bitterness on the back end, but it seems like this could be a malt bomb. The flavor is really dank and malty. There is a nice tropical fruit and light hop presence. The back end is still bright tropical fruits and then a bitter dank hoppiness. The mouth feel is thin and light, and there isn't really a good carbonation to help it out. It almost comes off a little slimy. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter and dank. Not bad, could be better for sure.

Most of these IPAs are really starting to just blend together. Sure one might say it has more spice and another might be slightly more roasted. For me, the sugar level in these beers which allow the near 10% alcohol just dominates my palate. They are becoming syrupy. tsd08460 (1260) - Marshall, Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2015

Draft at Good Dog. Very cloudy orange gold pour with an off-white head that left a fair amount of lace. Red grapefruit pith. Queen Anne cherries. Blood orange brulee. Slight smoke. Sweet but also strongly bitter. Strong woody elements. Fruity peppery hops. Surprisingly intense. Nice. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - FEB 17, 2015
Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit. Taste is berries in the finish, malty backbone, fruity hops/mango. The hops are put in check with the malt and elderberry. Tasty IPA. Swirling the beer gets the coriander aroma out, but it is hard to taste. Nice lacing. probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 14, 2015
Bomber from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear amber with a so-so off-white head.
Aroma: Strong, rich maltiness, savoury/brothy/mashy malt, very deep and dark with lots of black pepper, very deep toffee/treacle, a little dark dried fruitiness, is that the elderberry??, not getting coriander, black licorice?, quite the big beer!
Palate: Medium+ body, moderate to moderate-low carbonation.
Flav.: Quite mashy/brothy/savoury with strong pepperiness, quite resinous, I can’t find the elderberries or coriander, deep toffee/treacle, a bit too severe for my palate; dry with big bitterness and a long, darkly malty and peppery finish.
Too much and, yet, not enough. Oh well.
