Hazy amber beer, little white head. Fresh orangey hop nose. Palate is semi dry and semi soft. Fresh hops - orange that starts bitter but gets a little sweeter. Grapefruit in the background that a bitterish finish and afertaste. Good creamy malt base. Really liked this IPA - loved that bitter and sweet contrast, highly drinkable.
Tap at Churchill’s in San Marcos. This one actually lives up to its name, with a great Christmas tree aroma and very balanced flavor. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 3, 2010

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a strong, white head. Grapefruit aroma with hints of caramel malts. Sweet beginning with lightly sweet, earthy malts followed by pine and resin hops. Malt profile also smacks of caramel and biscuit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Finishes fairly sweet with dry, earthy bitterness. Very good beer with superb balance.
