Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Some malty sweetness, light baking spice, mild pumpkin, and a relatively clean finish. Pretty good.

Bottle at home. Pours clear orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is moderate biscuit malt, reminiscent of pie crust, with nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon, and earthy squash/pumpkin. Flavor is bitter nutmeg and cloves, cinnamon notes, moderate biscuit malt, earthy pumpkin and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Not too bad for a pumpkin offering, the spice is slightly restrained. Orange and clear with moderate low off-white head.

Very light and crisp. Hoppy bitterness in the finish but not much pumpkin or spice flavors; I generally prefer more presence than this has. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bomber poured to a snifter showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of soft white foam, and some spots & strands of lacing. The nose was ripe fruit, vegetable, with pumpkin somewhere in between, and some grass & greenery. Light bodied, with low carbonation, the taste added a bit of packing material & earthy bitterness, and was more reminiscent of a watery, washed out flavored homebrew. Didn’t work at all for me.

Dogbrick (13558) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy orange-apricot color with a thick foamy white head that dissipates gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of pumpkin pie spices and bready malt. The finish is sweet with clove and malt notes in the aftertaste. Decent overall.

thegreenrooster (4518) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2014
Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent pumpkin with a spice and a burning. Flavor is a very slight spice and not much after that. The finish is watery and almost flavorless. As far as pumpkin beers go this was way below par. No real spice or pumpkin stand out.

"a nice well-rounded pumkin ale. spices definitely there, but don’t overpower or take away from the natural pumpkin, which you can both smell and taste. smooth and creamy, yet a little on the watery side, but a well made beer for sure. courtesy of jlozier."

On draft at KRBC. Good pumpkin aroma. Very mellow and smooth with a great pumpkin aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours clear butterscotch with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, caramel. Flavor is the same, medium spiced, light sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body. Not bad, but not really my thing.
