650 ml bottle from Bev4less. pours a translucent copper color with a small white head that soon recedes to a splotchy film. The aroma is features resins, soap, barley and some mild citrus. The taste is similar to the nose, complex malts that are bready dominate and are backed up nicely by the mildly bitter citrus hops. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering bitter grapefruit. Overall: meh
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2017 Poured a golden wheat color with a small head. Full of aroma mostly citus and pineapple. Has a fresh hop flavor blast upon hitting the tongue. Delicious as usual for KRBC. Citrus flavors of orange and some bitterness to it. Recommend Highly solidfunk (9734) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 30, 2017
Citrus, some pine and booze. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Tangerine and some pineapple. Sharp burning hops like stepping on the campfire. Bottle thanks to Bytemisis. gyllenbock (10034) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 30, 2017
Bottle from Best Damn Beer Shop, San Diego. Hazy orange with a white head. Fresh and hoppy with pineapple, toffee, light malt and some mango. Rather sweet and with a bitter finish. A tasty one. Zymurgeist2 (2440) - Redwood City, California, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Tap at Harry’s in Redwood City. Massive tropical aroma. Slighly hazy tinged yellow with solid white head that slowly fades. Flavor doesn’t quite live up to the robustness of the aroma, but a very solid beer. aaronbr (195) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 28, 2016
Nice medium orange appearance and a great pine aroma poured into a glass from a 22oz bottle. Warming medium-heavy body. Strong hops with a touch of malt sweetness, pretty much perfectly balanced. Very impressive brew, I love it!

Draught at the brewery. Description says "A house favorite Double IPA brewed with Falconer’s Flight, Citra, and Simcoe hops." Pours hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy citrus and pine hops with cracker malt. Flavor is moderate citrus and pine hops and bitterness with cracker malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 29, 2016
22 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this is really nice with some piney notes, along with some citrus orange character too. A little bit of sugar malt sweetness is also present. Scantly hazy golden body with a medium, strong, fizzy white head. Starts with a bit of a sweet, sugary malt flavor, before the hops come in to balance things out. The middle has some light mandarin hop flavors with a little berry character. Finishes with more of a floral hop flavor and bitterness. I think this is a really well-balanced and flavorful IIPA. Some idiots would call it "juicy", if it were unfiltered. Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Big hoppy aroma, citrus, some earthiness, caramel malt. Slightly hazy orange pour, white head. Big malt - semisweet, some citrus, earthy hops, light spicy hop character. Homer321 (5250) - Melboring, Florida, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Bottle thanks to Jess. Nose is an amazing danky tropical fruity explosion. Hazy orange pour. Moderate white head. Taste is initially fruity with a light bitterness. Moderate bitterness but still a light malt sweetness. Good. But not double Citra good. AdamChandler (5207) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - APR 9, 2014
Cloudy orange. Lots of orange and cloves. Honey and more orange. Bitter then sweet then nutty. Orange. Big malt backbone.
