UPDATED: FEB 6, 2018 Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Dark ruby black colour lasting tan head. Some nutty malty flavour. Smooth in mouth, quite a lot of chocolate. Hides abv well. I rather liked it. Not much hop or spice. A little chewy. But decent definitely. Some dark fruits, raisins.

Buena eleccin.

Thanks Kraddel. Tasted december 2017, bottled 2009. Tad oxidized, but still very nice. Port all over the place! Very interesting.

simontomlinson (756) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2017
Thin beige head soon left a cover on a very dark brown still body. Minimal aroma of malt & spiced orange. Medium to full bodied. Thick & chewy on the palate. Very little carbonation & sticky & cloying on the back. Liquorice, cherry, orange, spices, sugar & malt tastes with some added Festive Flavours!!

NiklasT (187) - SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2017 Dark ruby. Aroma has yeastiness and cherries. Taste adds figs, dates and spices. Medium sweet for a Christmas type strong ale. Not much bitterness.

culchiem (4339) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 26, 2017
Bottle from Carrefour. Mahogany with a minimal head. Aroma of musky spice. Flavour is Belgian beer with a bit of Christmas spice, roughly thrown in, not subtle.
