Tap @ Würzburg markt @ Lebensfreunde aus der Region. Pours a reddish brown with a good and lasting beige head. Aroma is herbal, dark malt bread. Taste is smooth, dark malt bread, some nice wooden tones, some herbal hoppiness. Smooth, good carbonation.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 15, 2016
50cl bb07/2016 from Maruhn (2015 backlog). Soggy thin shoesole brown. Smells like trodden wet earth, older soaked bread crust. Flavour sweetish and watery, malty backwater. Pretty plörrig.

Rasmus40 (21695) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2014

TAR (2779) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Bottle best by Feb. 2014, consumed in Nov. 2013 Garnet rust. Creamy dirty-white foam. Dull and defective nose of Red Delicious apple peels, wax, cola, plum skin, and a hint of fallen leaves and breadcrust. Pointy carbonation deposits a foamy residue on the tongue. Slightly husky initially, with a strawlike pils malt note which takes on a wafer cookie paperiness. Notably unripe. Earthy breadcrust and fallen leaf accents lurk beneath it all. Very restrained Spalt note grips the palate with an indistinct woodiness, though is largely buried within the moderately high sugars. A discordant metallic and red apple peel tang combines with the underdeveloped pils malt which hinders the body further. Closes dull and red apple-like, limply malty and unclean with lingering metal. A shoddy example with very poor malt structure and kind of dirty, overall.

Oelbas (274) - DENMARK - AUG 8, 2014
Klar gyldenbrun med cremefarvet holdbart skum. Duften er svag med malt, alkohol og en smule græs. Smagen er maltsød i fin balance med bitterheden, der bliver mere markant i eftersmagen.

Cerbier (836) - - MAY 31, 2014
0,3l Flasche. Rötlichdunkles Bier mi kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht ein bischen malzig. Es schmeckt erst angenehm herb-malzig, bekommt aber im Abgang einen metallischen Geschmack.
