Bottle.Bronze with low carbonation. Thin and lacking in body. Some maltiness. Quite pleasant at first but soon fades into averageness. BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 17, 2011
[500ml bottle from deli in Ullswater] Pours dark brownish amber, highly carbonated from the bottle. Sweet, fruity aroma with a tinge of something quite bitter. On the palate, quite thin but a decent malty flavour with a touch of smoke. The decent malt backbone saves this, there’s a definite vegetal side to it. Decent but not amazing thewolf (12947) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2010

Pours dark amber with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma is sweet, somesugars, raisins and mild metallic notes. Highish carbonation, rather watery. Very weak flavour, mild caramel and some red berries. Not bad as such, just very anonymous.

Fruity aroma. Amber coloured fruity and a little hoppy with a slight wheat flavour. Hint of dryness in a bitter roast finish. Whelk (123) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2008
Gravity cask at the Doncaster Real Ale Festival 2008. Pours a lightish brown with a thin white rim. Aroma is grainy malt and citrus hops. Flavors lean towards vegetal: grassy, vegetable, etc. Some citrus hoppiness and a little fruitiness as well.

Abbotsford. Aroma is citrus, raw malt, lemon and orange peel. Taste has a strange vegtable quality, sweat and citrus are key, grassy bitter finish, an excellent yet strange session ale.
