Tap @ St. Urho’s Sahtipäivät 2015. Dark brown, thin brown but lasting off white head. Bready aroma, coffee, yeast. Flavor has banana, wheat, yeast and bread. Dunkel weizen like. I’m open minded. jookos (6908) - FINLAND - MAY 15, 2014

Brown murky. Ripe fruits, light roastedness, cola. Full body, juniopery finish. Brown toffee, brown bananas, some twiggyness. Decent.

(Keg at St. Urho’s Pub XIX sahtipäivät, 2014) The beer poured dark reddish brown. Its head was small and white. Aroma had caramel, sweentness and mildly juniper. Palate was medium bodied and watery with noticeable carbonation. Flavours were caramel, juniper, sweetness, malts and low bitterness. Afteraste had sweetness and caramel. Tasted like an ale with a lot of caramel malts and hardly any carbonation. VastActiv (7390) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 14, 2014

Draught @ St. Urhon Sahtipäivät 2014
Aroma has licorice, some strong bready tones and some hay. Perhaps some smoky tones too. Flavour has licorice, some spicy tones and ripe bananas. Also alcohol is present in the background, but it does not disturb. Not the most typical sahti at all its breadiness. Not bad anyway.
Draught @ St. Urhon Sahtipäivät 2015
Aroma has roasted tones, toffee and coffee. Flavour has coffee, roasted tones, some ripe banana ana some toffee notes. Good beer but sahti is well hidden here.

Very vegetal. Dodgy, to be honest. Maybe onion and chicory. Not a good sahti, probably not as the brewer intended.

’s, rated 2011-05-11) Muddy medium brown with no head. Sweet sahti malt in the nose, with a touch of junipery sourness. Lots of salty licorice and anise in the flavor - not suiting the style, but tasting damn good. Quite thick and full-bodied with no CO2. Not very sahti-like, but pretty nice.
Dark brown body, no head. Aroma has alcohol, some sweet yeast and fruits. Flavour has sweet chocolate, fruits. Soft and oily mouthfeel. Raisins on finish. rosenbergh (11653) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2011

Murky dark brown colour with tiny off-white head.
Very sweet brown sugary aroma. Flavour is also very sweet. Brown sugar is very pushy. Some maltiness. Low carbonation. No real Sahti flavour.
Dark murky color, no head. Aroma of juniper, banana and some licorice herbs. Medium-bodied. Juniper, semi-sweet banana, interesting roasted notes, some bean-vegetably flavors. Aftertaste has even some ashy notes. Decent first Sahti from this nano brewery.
