Bottle. Poured golden with no head or lace to speak of. Aroma of pepper. Standard ale light to medium body and grainy flavor up front with the warming heat at the end. As the hot Ales go, this is a decent one. ben4321 (6739) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 9, 2013

Aroma: The nose is peppery, with some underlying pale malts, and a bit of hop as well
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves almost no lace
Flavor: Pale malts and light hops, mild citrus, and a pepper presence that overrides everything else
Palate: The body is light-medium, with average-plus carbonation, and spicy finish
I thought this one was okay, but the spice presence just seems to be a touch off, and doesn’t quite achieve the desired balance that other, more successful, pepper beers achieve.
Draft at TAP NY. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy base with pepper heat that comes through and destroys any other flavors that may be lurking in the background. Not good. pellegjr (396) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2012
Bottle, hazy bronze w/ thin quickly-dissipating head, corny malt aroma w/ some very light citrus accents, full corn-heavy malt with a slightly oily finish, just a bit of habanero flavor and heat, really very nice jcwattsrugger (12525) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 30, 2012
12oz bottle-shared by James-pours hazy yellow with a white ring. Aroma is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt. Taste is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt, then the pepper burn hits the back of the throat, the heat remains for a while. With the next sip, it starts again, but at a slightly higher level. 3oz is plenty.

Pouring at TAPNY. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft grain and some diacetyl. Medium bodied, light pepper comes through over the grain. Slow heat, long and gentle burn. Toast and warm. Very well balanced and drinkable. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 17, 2012
Bottle shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours cloudy yellow with off white head. Nose of light malt, citrus and lemon. Taste is mostly lemon and light malt with a significant pepper burn that gets hotter as you go down the bottle. The burn isn’t over the top, but is still significant and balances fairly well with the lighter bodied brew.
