On tap at the brewpub. It looked pretty, smelled OK, but then it was a very sour beer--seemed as if the tap lines needed some cleaning. Very disappointing. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 30, 2010
12oz can. Describing your beer as Oktoberfest-style ale is just a bad call, in my opinion. Hazy brown-red color. Beige head. An OK amber or red, nothing extraordinary. Very malt centered, not much hop character. Fruity tones from the amber malt. Inoffensive session beer. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Can purchase at Eastman Party Store in Midland MI. Pours a copper amber with a dissipating rocky light beige head. Very faint aroma of sweet bready German malts. Light bodied approaching medium with average carbonation. Flavor of munich malts, dough, and a hint of noble hops. Basically, this tastes like an average Marzen that has been watered down. 12 ounce can from a friend. Pours a very slightly hazy copper color with a large creamy, frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel with faint, herbal hops. Taste is caramel, berries and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Looks good, but fairly bland. smooch (238) - Sylvania, Ohio, USA - FEB 5, 2010
This is an amber without much of a backbone. Very little flavor although it looks pretty good. Mouthfeel is nothing.

Better than other Keweenaw offerings. Lovely cloudy reddish/amber hued pour with creamy beige head. Grapefruit and bread aroma. Roasted caramel on the palate. What subtracts from this is the watery finish and lack of hops. RAYBOY01 (2011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 16, 2009
Amber pour with off-white head. Light grain nose and hint of citrusy hops. Flavors are sweet, lightly roasted grain, anf very light citrus hops, touches of cardboard and hints of the metallic can. twindadplus2 (715) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 1, 2009
Slightly reddish amber color with a small tight light-brown head. Very light aroma of malt and crisp hops. Doughy malt flavor with a tart citrus background. Medium bodied with a slightly watery palate and a nice malty finish. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - AUG 20, 2009
A good lookin beer. Light crisp grapefruity hops. A great session beer. Not much to it. But crisp refreshing and looks tight skoll (420) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Clear amber body, thick, puffy buff head. Bready aroma with muted caramels and grassy hops. Light body, sweet pineapple and cerealy, finishing with sharp herbal hops before fading into sugar water. lingering bitter metalic aftertase.
