12oz bottle-pours a big, foamy white head that laces. Pale yellow color. Aroma is lime, malty, grass. Taste-carbonation, then a bit of malt, thin. Nothing offensive, just not much to it. Appearance: clear pale yellow, scant white head,
Aroma: light grain aroma with a touch of worty funk and light floral hops,
Body: thin body,
Flavor: cereal flavor, touch of grain character, unfermented sweetness, putrid funk, light bitterness,
Aroma: 2/10; Appearance: 4/10; Flavor: 1/10; Palate: 4/10; Overall: 3/20
Pours golden with some haze, light white head.
Aroma is light pale malts, some hints f citrus and hay.
Flavor, wheat, light hops, not too bad for what it is.
Crisp finish, citrus. Another mediocre FBC beer that has the talent of having a little something going for it. Ends a little bitter and skunky, typical of many pale lagers.

Why make a pilsner light? I guess I’ll find out. It poured pale watery gold with decent 60 second white head. The aroma is grainy with a touch of lemon acidity and faint floral hops. The taste is watery neutral and feebly sloshing up notes of grains and acidity. It tastes like seltzer water with a very thin lemon wedge sunk into it. I think I’ll choose water over this stuff. So, apparently I’m not a fan of Pilsner Lights. PorterPounder (8268) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Pale, light golden crystalline pour, with a bubbly white head that clings to the edges. Aroma is industrial and plasticy with a hint of sweat. Flavor is slightly metallic with some cardboard notes and just a hint of honey to make it palatable. Mouthfeel is leaning way to the thin side. Drink this one very cold - it will go down smoother. First beer of the "nothing else to do in mid February" tasting (thanks jcwattsrugger). This is a case of a beer getting points for what it’s not - no off flavors or aromas, not offensive, crisp and drinkable. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Bottle courtesy of dchmela. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of pilsner malt, some stray hops. Tastes of apples, dry malt, some pepper. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JAN 30, 2010
Gold pour with fluffy white head and lace. Aroma of paper, tart/sour apple, and a hint of malt. Light malt flavor, sweet start with a dry finish. Thin and watery with aggressive carbonation. No off flavors, drinkable.
