2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Remnants from a trade a long time ago with Degarth. Been in the fridge for a while. Pours amber with a white head. Nose is almost vegetable. Flavor’s a bleak malt. It’s... beer. Didn’t expect much from this particular beer, didn’t get much... But hey... it’s beer. :)
Aroma of soft grain and vague hops. Clear light body, no head. Flavour is a soft sweet malt with subdued hoppy kick. Good oiliness on the mouth. Not bad, but a rather average ale. theisti (4179) - Kansas, USA - JUN 1, 2017
12 oz bottle at Margaritaville in Key West, Florida. The pour is clear ruby golden with not much of an off white head. The aroma is a touch of caramel malt, and not much else. The taste is very mild sweetish malt, caramel and toffee, and a hint of grass floral towards the back, which is very faint. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a non-descript finish. Fine, but boring. BrewCommander55 (1) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - APR 18, 2017 does not count
Metallic smell, not a fan of the palate, to subtle and overridden by the unsavory odor. For the price and go for something different. 11 bucks for a six pack. Will not buy again. MBlessing (1445) - Württemberg, GERMANY - APR 4, 2017

Ok. Drinkable. Kind of macro, not really taking any chances. Probably would not buy this again.

Clear amber colour with a white tiny head. Mild fruitiness and malts, metallic and short taste, not so fresh.
On the beach Longboat key, Florida. Mild mild malt taste with a faint hint of hops. Light taste on a hot day.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a fair head. Aroma of malt sweetness and not much else. Taste is similar with caramel sweetness. No real bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth with a laid back feel. Fits the Key West lifestyle. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 15, 2016
On tap at the brewery taproom.
Reddish amber body with good clarity and a durable off-white head.
Good bitter-sweet balance. Ample light and medium malt flavor.
Feel: a bit thin but this works OK with the medium+ carbonation and light dryness. ChadPolenz (1847) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2016
2015 BJCP Category: 19A American Amber Ale
AROMA: Light caramel maltiness, a hint of butterscotch. No hops. 7/12
APPEARANCE: Mostly clear shade of dark amber/light copper. Large, white, frothy head. Good lacing and retention. 3/3
FLAVOR: Malt-forward palette, though not especially sweet. Mild caramel/toffee flavors and some dry bitterness in the second half but no hop distinctiveness. No flaws, but not much to spec. Way too mild. 10/20
MOUTHFEEL: Light/medium body; fairly crisp. Smooth and clean aftertaste. Too light for the style. 2/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: This is clearly a mild beer intended for a pedestrian audience. Succeeds as such, but not a great example of the style. 5/10
TOTAL SCORE: 26/50
