2011-10-05, swingtop bottle from E-aktiv Markt, Walldorf, bb 15-11-2011, 5.6% ABV, 6-4-6-3-13=32
Cloudy golden-amber color, with medium sized head. Light malt aroma, a bit breadish, and with very mild hops. Dry mouthfeel in the front, with some malt flavor, medium to strong bitterness, and light residual sweetness later. Pleasant but inoffensive.

2010-10-06, draught at the brewpub, 5.7% ABV, 6-4-6-3-14=33
Cloudy light amber color; compact head. Some malt aroma, light. Satisfying body strength; some malt and caramel flavor, with a little residual sweetness, a light fruity impression, and bold bitterness. Once more from a Karlsruhe brewery, a special interpretation of Festbier, more bitter than expected, but this also is enjoyable.
