COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heller High Water is a Pale (hell) straw coloured Bavarian Lager. Brewed with German malts, German noble hops and a genuine Munich yeast. High Water is a classic example of the session beers enjoyed in Bavarian beer gardens. Our seasonal offering has a clean malt flavour with a slight hop presence, perfectly balanced for Summer quaffing. Come Heller High Water, you will enjoy this beer. The Story While paddling down the Ottawa River (aka the Kichesippi), you will enter into a set of rapids know as Lower McCoy’s close to the town of Beachburg. Just to the right of the rapids is a metal ruler bolted to a large rock that displays to paddlers whether they are about to experience High Water or not.

Nice easy drinking medium light beer. A little bit of an off putting aroma due to the use of Noble hops, that isn’t present on the palette.

September 20, 2013 - on draught at Pub Italia (Ottawa). Clear light oily-looking gold with a very small foamy white head. Aroma is a little generic - grassy bitterness, vaguely honeyish sweetness, with an overlay of burnt popcorn - ehh. Taste is grass, honey, with a touch of paper - not nasty, but it’s on notice. Mild carbonation, harsh finish and aftertaste; drinkable - if it weren’t harsh, it would be too sweet.

Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is corn, grain and wheat. Sweet malt and grassy hop flavours. A good clean tasting beer.

ours a clean pale blond colour with a decent white head that stays and create creamy lacing. Big grainy nose with soapy notes from the hop. Good blend of wet and dry mouth feel. Yeasty soda cracker aroma with some fruit accents.

generally not a lager guy. But the idea of Noble hops and bavarian yeast appealed to my palate. Not a go to but good tasty beer. A bit off clear and subtle overall.

473ml can. The pour is yellow and a bit unclear. Head is small and white, sticky and creamy. The aroma has sweet grains and grass. The taste has soem grainy sweetness and grassy hop notes. Nice finish, slightly grassy. Sessionable lager, I enjoyed it.

(Rating #7189)

Pours almost clear gold with a lacy off white head. Sweet vegetable and cereal, with a herbal hop nose. Traces of bread yeast. Body is okay. It’s got a creaminess, and a bit of grit in there. A little unusual, but not unpleasant. It’s sweet and bready, but it has a vegetable note to it that is nobody’s favourite. Lots of club soda, sugar, and mild acidic hop is the character of this beer. It came out of nowhere, and may have played okay in the early 2000s.

DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2016
Can. Medium golden hue, average white head that actually retains nicely. Clean grains, light but distinct grassy hops, low bitterness. Actually very good.

Can from RCSS. Hazy pale yellow with a tiny white head that fades quickly to a sheet. Nose is light caramel malts and honey with some floral and grassy notes. Moderate fruity sweetness with just a slight lemony bitterness as well as a touch of pepper.Mouth is medium- and a bit chewy with slightly soft carbonation. 6+/3/7/3+/13
