16.9 FL OZ ($1.65) mega good bargain beer. has a great smokiness to it. smells like smoke and tastes like it. a really good find. give it a try when you see it. Erzengel (8733) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 8, 2014
Thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Amber in the glass with a beige head. The beer starts malty with hints of roasted malt. Slightly bitter. The mainpart is dry, roasted and bitter. Not a Märzen - it is a "Dunkel". The aftertaset is roasted-dark, malty and moderate bitter! bedzinianin06 (567) - - MAY 27, 2015
A great brew! Much better than expected! --> 10/12/11/11
Bardzo ładna obfita, kremowa piana. Lacing. Barwa ciemnego rubinu/ciemnej miedzi, piwo klarowne. Orange-brown color with a taller cream colored head. Roasted grain aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Thinner slick feel. Dry toasty flavors with a late astringency that distracts significantly. Great aroma and appearance killed somewhat by a late strong astringency.

Dark Reddish brown color with a thick head. Has a sweet, yeasty taste with a bitter aftertaste. Found it surprisingly refreshing. Gromit (479) - Port Orchard, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2004
Interesting. I never know what to expect with exotic foreign beers.
11.16oz green bottle with lots of funny lettering.
Pours a light brown color with a decent head that didn't last long and left no lacing.
Smells of caramel malts with a hint of hops.
Tastes grainy and almost astringent. Caramel is on the forefront. Hops are present. Not very complex.
Mouthfeel is fuller than most Darks and on the creamy side. Drinkability is better than most Darks I've had.
Not a bad beer at all, and kinda cool to try one from a country not known for its beers. ruskiimperial (308) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 18, 2010
This poured a dark red with a good three fingers of reddish tan foam. Aroma has some sweet plumb, but not too much. There is also a good bit of grain. Taste is very heavy on sweet grains, with a good malty backbone. Sweetness is noticeable but not overpowering. Its actually a decent little beer which is pleasant on the palate. I definitely wouldn’t call this a Marzen though. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 30, 2005
Thanks to ernest for this rare sample. Pours amber with a thin off white head. Smells doughy with some rosey notes present. Tastes of yogurt and grapefruit with some mild rasberry notes. Metallic on the finish. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Cool looking green 50cl bottle pours a nice clear amber with tall semi big bubbled tan head. The aroma comes across pretty metallic and mineral like with bits of caramel, faint roasted malts and a vague faint fruity ester note. The taste has pleasing caramel malts and malt sweetness rolling slowly into thin ribbons of roasted malts, pilsener like malts and then a lagery sort of yeastiness. Tasty brew all things considered.
