Not sure what an Irish golden lager truly is, but this is reviewed from notes.
On tap at the brewpub, this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-golden somewhat transparent color with a thin cap of a white foamy head that quickly died off. No lace.
The aroma had some sweet creamy malts with sweet corns and then delicately hopped with some grassy tones.
The flavor was basically the same with a really smooth sweet creamy sort of aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a very good sessionability about it. Exceptionally smooth as it is.
Overall, good for what it is, whatever an Irish golden lager is. Franksv6 (976) - Tiel, NETHERLANDS - MAR 20, 2016
