0.4l can @ Bergen Airport. Clear caramel-brown with a really creamy off-white head. Smells light sweet, mild ashy, some faint fruity tones. Not horrible, but not fantastic. It’s soft on the carbonation and it has a mild oily mouthfeel. Light sweet caramel flavors also, some faint cigarette tones with a soft bitter and quite smooth finish and a flour-ish both semi dry aftertaste and really watery and thin. Easy drinking, but flavor wise this has never been a favorite of mine. Nor this time. 05.08.2012

Pio u old times pubu, poprilično davno, al ostalo u dobrom sjećanju, Pamtim vrlo specifičan okus karamele ili nečeg sličnog....

Bernsteinfarben mit kleiner, weißer Schaumkrone. Süßlicher Geruch mit dezentem Fruchtaroma. Durchschnittlicher süßlich malziger Geschmack, etwas Karamell, aufkommende leichte Bitterkeit. Kann trotz der hohen Süffigkeit nur mäßig punkten, wirkt irgendwie zu ideenlos und spricht mich weniger an als sein Pub-Zwillingsbruder Guiness.

Copper coloured ale with a slightly off white head. Aroma: malts, some sweetness and some fruits. Taste: malty, sweet, some herbal notes and some slight bitterness. Not very good.

Nitro can. Clear red-amber with creamy white head. Weak malty aroma. Flavour is fairly bland, but has slight sweetness, caramel and nutty notes. A bit of a dry finish. Highly drinkable and refreshing, but not outstanding.

Aroma caramel and some hints of herbs. Nice amber color. Taste of caramel and malt. No bitterness at all. Quite watery and flat.

December 27th, 2014 - The Irish four-pack I received as part of an early Christmas gift also came with the Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. Clad in a beautiful maroon can, the color of the beer isn’t too far off, occupying a deep red color on the spectrum, with a contrasting white head. The smell is pretty standard for the beers in this pack, clean and sharp with malt and a certain tang. But the taste is different, if not only for the nitro treatment. This creates an incredibly smooth palate with a nice sweetness. A little almond, a little bitterness and a great deal of caramel make for a great flavor, and one that stands out amongst the other beer sampled in the pack.

I love the look of this beer with the creamy head from the nitrogen can. It is vey smooth and gets a high grade.

330 ml bottle served in tulip. Pours clear dark amber with decent white head. Not very complex aroma, a bit malt, that's it. Taste is malty-bitter with sour hint. Very refreshing and smooth. Nice palate. Light bodied, soft to fizzy carbonated. Decent beer, but the lack of aroma leads to a average rating. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
