The 3s have it on this one. The color, taste, and aroma were better than most macro shit. Not as good as Killian’s, but not too bad. JK (6201) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - MAR 18, 2003
Light red color. A little scent of hops. Thin and watery with hardly any taste, but a little malt was there. Killian's is a better choice. Aurelius (5380) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2002
Malty, very good macrobrew. Not super hoppy, but pretty well balanced with some caramel, raisin. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 16, 2002
Light red color, medium head. Light taste, some malts, and slight hops. Light body. Somewhat typical of American mass produced beers, the flavor is turned down of this beer. What’s there is good, but there is just not enough of it. Good balance of hops and malts. Malts are slightly sweet. Mouthfeel is a little over carbonated and a little thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Not a lot of flavor, what is there is very good, but it needs to be a little more intense.

Pours a nice medium amber color. Aromas of malt and maybe something sweet. Flavor is bland, watery, and bland. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2003
A weak aroma - low malts and hops. Nice red amber color with off-white, thin head. Medium soft carb and medium watery body. Sweet malts and low hops, taste of tea. Weak and watery, but decent taste. A little adventurous for AB. Mild sweet finish and after, with some adjuncts. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 26, 2006
bottle - Can A-B any more obviously try to rip off Killian’s? It’s a decent looking beer, amber with a bit of a head. The aroma and flavor are dominated by malts. The body is thin and the finish short and clean. It’s okay, but I’m not impressed. I haven’t seen this beer much lately so I’m guessing the attempt to market it like a Killian’s clone didn’t work out too well for A-B. austinpowers (2831) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 28, 2002
This is Anheuser-Busch’s answer to...something. Urine? Killian’s? Does Killian’s taste this watery and bland? Wish I could taste them side by side b/c it seems Killian’s is the target of Killarney’s. I can’t say this one’s a ’keeper’. At least it’s darker in color than a Budhook Blonde Ale. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2003
Tasted like Killian's used to taste. Not bad, but kind of a clone of others, it seems like. Very deep amber hue in appearance, and asweet and over carbonated taste. Kind of a buttery finish.
