3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium red with some brown undertones and a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that diminished quickly down to a thin cap and medium collar, producing fair sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a mild bread malt, floral hops and a moderate dose of sweaty yeast with notes of apple, caramel and dark fruit (plums and cherries).
The taste was lightly malty and sweet with hints of caramel and apple from the start and sweetly acidic with a note of dark fruit and a good yeast presence at the end. The flavor hung on for a little while with a nice fruity wheat taste left behind.
Mouthfeel was a step above light in body with an oily dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a brew that is very drinkable, and has a delightful mellow fruity flavor...
This beer is a perfect balance, not too bitter, not too sweet, very flavorful. I wish I could find it near me! DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2014
Bottle from Whole Foods Plymouth. Pours copper with 1-finger frothy, off-white head, and a lot of carbonation. Nose is grainy caramel malt, corn flakes, hops. Tastes caramel malty, with hops and some yeasty notes. Medium finish. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 13, 2013
On tap at the World Beer Festival - Columbia on 01/22/2011. Clear copper orange body with a small off white head. Sweet earthy and light grainy aroma with tea hints. Grainy flavor with tea and earthy notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation. BREWMUSKCLES (2759) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 23, 2013
toasty malt, complex and refined. that is to say mellow and laid back. the beer is smooth with notes of caramel, honey and a zing in the carbonation that makes the ivy like mid palate minty right before a lingering bitter end. demonstrative and Belgian pleasantly light in the spice. moderately full frothy body. alobar (3969) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Pours a reddish amber color with no head. Minimal aroma of toasted malt ad citrus. Citrus, toasted malt and hint of yeast flavor. Okay beer, bit nothing great.

Pours cloudy orange/red with the largest fluffy white head of any beer I have ever poured out of a bottle. Not sure what that indicates about the beer but here goes.Tastes awful!!! Maybe I got a bad bottle. DRAIN POUR! geologyguy (1687) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Poured with HUGE head...light fruity smell...decent taste but not a good finish...little rough and slightly hoppy...too much carbonation?? Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Has a slight Belgian feel to it was the yeasty/spice aroma and mouth tingle. Murky/fizzy reddish orange with thin head. It’s alright. bubbleflubber (2244) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Pours brick red into the glass, with a nonexistent head nor lace of which to speak. The nose is of crisp green apples. Flavors pull me toward a cider, with citrus, semi-astringent and mulling spices. The mouthfeel is a bit flat, and the body again feels like a cider. Weird, this one. Not my favorite style.

Draft at winners circle. Pours clear red without head. The aroma has some biscuit, and some sort of malt. The taste is very malty with a slight bitterness. Pretty drinkable but not memorable.
