COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer will change your expectations of Amber Ales. King Street Amber is rich and complex beer balanced more toward the malts with smooth supporting hop flavor. The hops provide pleasant citrusy notes in the aroma and flavor giving way to a subtle nutty character reminiscent of English ales.

Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a clear amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at an even pace. Slight messy lace. The aroma had some toast, dark fruit, and earthy hops. Lingering little bit of spicy hops. Light nuts. The flavor leans towards a bready/toastiness evening out with some of that dark fruity sweetness and then the spicy to earthy hops. Mild toasty/dark fruity aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Smooth along my tongue. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, nice amber ale worthy of having again.

Bright amber colour. Caramel and crackers, pretty basic amber. Light body, quick finish. You’ll spend more time thinking about the popcorn than the amber.

Draft: Poured a carmel brown with a off white head that turns whispery. Aroma is light malts. The taste is a sweet malt and soft roasted grain. Leaves the mouth dry.

Growler from Brown Jug. Clear amber/orange with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, toasty biscuits and some herbal scents. Flavor is rich biscuity malt, with some sweet caramel and a very light bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation and a clean finish. Another solid beer from King St.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice malt and light hops aroma. There is a slight issue with the flavor. I was getting a slight infection on the brew. Much better brews at this place during my visit.
