Volo Cask Days 2008. Extra hopped pilsner. Light yellow with some hop scent. Not characteristic hops come through on an average mouthfeel. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2008
2008-10-03. New rating? Sure why the heck not. Lightly hazy golden yellow body with a small white head. Very floral, straw hops. Flavour has similar hop profile, sweet floral, straw, touch of buttercup - noble hops, saaz. (6+) Average plus palate. Solid but I just do not love the Saaz hops. 6+/3/7/3/14 - 3.3 On tap at C’est What mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 12, 2009
[1753-20081003] Tap. Dry straw mild aroma. Hazy, light orange body with quick white bubbles. Lots of bready yeast in the flavour with toasted hoppy straw and a weird evergreen aftertaste. Medium body. Average.

Draught at C’est What. Pours a cloudy gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma’s perfumy and not much else, kind of perm solution-like too (thanks Sheryl). Flavour: I don’t know about this, for an unfiltered and extra-hopped version of this beer it seems sweeter not hoppier to me. Sweet, malty and with a light bitter finish. This is not something I would get again, I prefer the regular Pilsner, this version’s too sweet for me. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2008
Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2008. Hazy yellow with an average white head. Floral/cereal aroma, quite hoppy-bitter with some cloying sweetness. Tastes of buttery grain and intense dry green hops - not blended or smooth at all, but interesting. Thick mouthfeel, solidly astringent, longish bitter grassy finish, not as cloying as the aroma implied - solid: I will have to revisit the original King Pils (I hated it on first/second/third try).

Volo Cask Days 2009. Very hazy golden pour, looks like a belgian wit. Aroma is quite hoppy, and grassy. Flavor is odd though, there is a big green tea note, and some more grassy hops. interestng beer, but not great. Spab (3783) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2009
Draught at C’est What Spring Festival. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with tiny white cap. Light grassy aroma with odd undertone. Taste starts full and grassy giving way to nice long bitter finish. Not sure exactly what to think - I’d like to revisit this one. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2008
Draught sample at C’est What Fall Festival of Small Breweries 2008. Hazy golden with a still body and no head. Aroma of sharp floral/herbal hops. Thin, crisp body. Flavour is very hop-forward, quite tingly, with some bread crust malt to balance things out a bit, and a lingering bitter finish. I’d go with the regular Pilsner for everyday drinking, but it was still nice to try this. garthicus (2925) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 25, 2009
Appearance: Dark yellow, with a small white head. Aroma: Grass, banana, corn and a plastic twang. Flavour: Grass and plastic again. Not nice. AGAquino (667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2009
Cask at Bar Volo Cask Days 2009 Very cloudy light yellow colour with white head. Yeasty bread aroma with slight citrus. Nice refreshing slightly yeasty and hop bitter flavour.
