Poured pale gold with a small head. Weak vegetal hop aroma. Clean balanced hop taste, no real aftertaste but crisp and refreshing if nothing else. JuStuka (201) - Edo De Mex, MEXICO - OCT 13, 2008
Well nothing special in this beer just the traditional lager style, not bad not good just ok. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 13, 2008
Nothing exciting except the origin:) Pale body with a small head, some malt and hop aroma and flavor. Boring, avarage, one of the mass beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - OCT 11, 2008
Bottle. Pours a crystal clear gold with a moderate white head that faded to a film after the first sip and left a few whisps of foam along the sides of the glass. The aroma is a bit skunky and stale at the beginning, but thankfully dissipates. Some very, very light grassy hops remain. The flavor is a bit better with some mildly sweet malt up front and very light hops bitterness at the finish. Overcarbonated and a bit fizzy on the palate. Not a horrid beer, but nothing something I’d be interested in re-visiting either. Trys1980 (5) - Wollongong, AUSTRALIA - SEP 25, 2008 does not count
Drank from a 330 mL bottle. I was very encouraged by the initial clear colouration and even head, not an entirely unpleasant aroma. The initial flavour wasn’t too bad, but after a few more swigs, I started to get a very unpleasant taste at the back of my palate. Wasn’t able to get past 3 in a sitting. Not very drinkable at all.

bottle, clear yellow color with frothy head that quickly disappears, nose is corn and malt, flavor is oddly sweet and somewhat crisp, finish is plain, actually decent Pyobon (1497) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 16, 2008
Draught. Clear yellow with some white head. Noticeable hops in the aroma. Light body with medium carbonation. Flavour is lightly malty with flowery hops giving some bitterness. Overall, light but pleasant. sirPino (883) - Zawiercie/Sosnowiec, POLAND - SEP 12, 2008

Bottle green, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours pale golden, almost yellow, very bright, carbonation is initially moderate, quickly becomes low, head is white, regular in structure, initially medium, slowly decreasing to small, saturation is rather weak, body texture is clear, without sediment.
Aroma: Initially skunky due to green bottle, chalk, corn syrup, barley grains, corn and barley syrupy notes, very thin and poor in terms of hoppyness, skunky and slightly dull grassy, typical ’India Pale Lager’ brewed by English brewery in England for export to India.
Flavour: Front is gently rusty, sour and moderately to high alcoholic, the same notes of corn and again sourness like from brewing cereal, finish duration is short to medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery and slightly sour, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is slightly grainy, wet rugs at the end but not bad as for a Pale Lager.
Poured into a pilsener glass. Clear pale straw color with a small white head that fizzles out immediately. No lacing, poor retention.
Aroma is almost undetectable. What little scent there is is pleasant, with some floral notes and sweet grains. No adjunct or skunk aroma.
Flavor is very very watery. I mean more watery than Bud Light watery. Pretty much a joke of a beer. There’s a touch of nondememo sweet maltiness mid-palate but it washes away immediately. No grain, no hops, no nothing. I’d rather have that phony corn syrup adjunct flavor than nothing!
Thinnest body possible, with average carbonation. Short crisp finish.
Very drinkable, very undesirable. douglas88 (9625) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 9, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2008 Bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head that goes down quite quickly. The aroma is sweet malts and some hops. The flavor is dominated by both a sweet malt and some bitter metallic and hop flavors. Not horrible. The bitter aftertaste seems more like aspirin than hops though.
