UPDATED: JUL 5, 2008 Light to moderate bitterness. Light aroma (Herbs). Oxidated (metallic). Fully diminishing head. Fizzy carbonation. Light Body (watery). That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2008
Beware if this one gets warm on you. Drank this all the time in India, but it’s pretty much Budweiser. Stings the nostrils, looks like pee, tastes like your mom. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 11, 2008
Another one of your basic foreign swill purchases. Pours a golden body with a medium sized white head. Very little lacing. A heavily malted aroma, as well as a little wheat. Tastes consistently grainy all the way through although I could faintly taste the honey. Hardly any carbonation. UnholyBrewing (595) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2008
...bottle. Not very good. Overly bitter, skunky, old tasting. Not worth it. Alldaydrinker (559) - Norwood, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 7, 2008
Pours a golden color with a small white head, lots of carbonation activity. Nose is grassy, earthy, touch of hops. Initial taste is crisp, grassy, rhiney hop bitterness. Watery, light bodied with a fizzy mouth feel. Finish has rhiney bitterness finish for average palate duration.

Drinkable if it’s the only beer around (often the case in India), but if you’re outside of India, go for something else. The beer is often skunked, and they put some odd preservative in it. Not just bad in India. The KF I’ve had in the US has been messed up too, even though it’s actually brewed in NY. If in India, Kingfisher Strong is a better alternative. The alcohol flavor in it should cover up some of the nasty flavors present in regular KF. vulcanmeister (272) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Pours golden with an abundant white head. Bitter hops and a bit of sweetness. Bitter finish, a bit flat, not too exciting but drinkable especially very cold with curry. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Pours pale yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is stale hops, pretty plain. Flavor is hoppy, but not overly bitter. Slight citrus taste. Overall, a different lager. WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 27, 2008
A respectable lager, but nothing fantastic. Aroma of light malt, slightly skunky. Flavor is slightly better, with a decent amount of green hops. Tastes kind of like a watered-down Stella Artois. Like some previous raters said, would go good with spicy foods, but not worth drinking on its own. puboflyons (3433) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 24, 2008
From a 355 ml. green bottle with no noticeable date or batch number. It pours golden yellow with carbonated white head. An aroma of malts is evident. It feels a bit watered down and there’s a malty taste to it but it is kind of sour. It tasted more like an N/A.
