325ml "Knollen" Flasche, braun. Goldgelbes langweiliges Pilsner. Schmeckt wie ein etwas mehr gehopftes Lager. Interessant ist nur die typisch norddeutsche Flasche. Wie die nach Indien kommt? sunnish (1) - Goa, INDIA - OCT 2, 2013 does not count
I’m a regular whisky drinker. rarely drink beers. but this had made me a regular kings drinker. taste is really good, looks good, aroma is good too, i also liked the bottle shape. if anyone’s visiting Goa please try it. JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 24, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2013 Bottle, 33 cl, x-mas eve at a cafe in Mandrem, Goa. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Grainy, cereal aroma. Odd sweetish vegetabel taste, light metallic, light light sulphur finish. Almost no bitterness. Only drinkable very cold in the Indian heat. Extremely bland ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone beer_est_deus (1300) - örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 14, 2012
Extremt ljus gul med ganska stort vitt skum. Doft: Malt, jäst, kemi sal. Smakar brunns vatten. urveshvasani (2) - INDIA - JUN 17, 2012 does not count
Pretty decent beer. Not for fans of lighter, smoother beers like the Corona. Strong taste and aroma is what distinguishes this brew.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow lager, with a small head. The aroma is dominated by hops, malts, some distant fruits. The taste is a bit fuller than most indian lagers, slightly bitter finish. The carbonation is good, sparkly. Absolutely preferable instead of the boring kingfisher. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 4, 2009
Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a malty bready aroma. Has a malty cardboard flavor with some hints of rice. Has a malty grainy cardboard finish. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2008
Bottle bought in Goa. Golden coloured. Clear. small off white head. Fruity and some smoky notes. Quite different in comparison with some of the speciments Ive crossed lately. Flavour as well is a bit more disticnt smoky. Has a light tar touch. Again light fruits. Is medium bodied. Light dry. Ends on a light smoky note. As omhper has stated this stands out from the ordinary Indian lager, and should have some credit for that. A bit bland though, but still quite nice. aru (105) - Smørum, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2007
This is a traditionally main stream pilsner beer breawed in India. The result is very disappointing. Where this type of pilsners normally are uninspiering but harmles this one is really bad. The collor is light yellow with little head. The test has a bisar sour tuch witch is no joy. presidentchaos (21) - Worthing, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2007
Has a glycerine tang to it. In fact the barman showed me how to remove the glycerine by upturning the bottle under water! It is used as a preservative and adversly affects the taste for the worse. At 25c for 325ml, who’s complaining?
