blackcountry arms, walsall. Copper beer with small head and good lacing. Aroma is caramel and malts. Taste follows suit. Standard beer a little sweet, quite well balanced. Decent.
smells like a rich malty english-belgian. dark amber in colour. Tastes malty, a bit underwhelming and there is a slight taste of mould, definitely signs of a light infection, possibly due to the cap not being on as tight as usual. That aside, this has some character but really nothing much to say about it. Leighton (22836) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2014
Gravity cask at the Bree Louise - London. Long may you run. Good stuff, plenty of bready sugars, light Belgian yeast, toffee, ripe fruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Sweet finish, faint leaves, bread, light brown sugar. Solid. BlackHaddock (7965) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2012
500ml Bottle conditioned: best before 3rd May 2013, poured into my Abbot Ale glass tankard during a ‘Random Tasting Evening’ in Aug 2012.
Deep amber towards brown body, with a slight haze because of the pour being interrupted: on top a good crown of beige bubbles.
Both the nose and taste were a pleasant blend of fruity hops and semi-sweet malty molasses: a nicely balanced brew without really testing your taste buds. Medium bodied and well carbonated, not bad at all.

Cask conditioned handpump Criterion Leicester. An amber to brown coloured beer with a soapy white head. A fruity aroma with berry notes. Sweet in the mouth but nicely so with good boozy notes. Pretty good.
