Bottled, 500ml, from Waitrose, Bath. Red amber with big white head. Full bodied malts initially give a good roasty flavour on the palate, this develops into nuttiness, roasted peanut perhaps, then there is a penetrating sweetish hop note, grassy and full. There is a lovely balance to this beer, very good indeed. madsberg (11799) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2009
Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Off white dense head. Sweetness, herbs and flowers in the aroma. Flavour is sweet, flowery and herbal and has disthinct notes of pine and caramel. Medium to full bodied. Quite dry. Ends on a nice balanced bitterness.
