50cl bottle of Kingstone Gold from Real Ale Ltd, Twickenham. Poured a brilliantly clear amber gold leaving lots of sediment in the bottle, even adding this left a decent looking pint. THe billowing white head soon faded. Aroma of lemon and grain; sweet honey taste with some citrus. Clean and refreshing. omhper (25753) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2011
Bottled. Hazy golden, rich head. Honeyed grains and spicy hops up front. Light bodied, dryish, grainy and quite hoppy. Slender and refreshing with growing bitter finish. ladnewton (2041) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2012
Cask at Tapping The Admiral, London on 5th March 2012. Gold with white foam head and partial lacing. Yeast and caramel aroma with some sweet cheesiness. Main taste is mainly floral with grassy hop notes and berry fruits. A bitter finish ensues, and the mouthfeel is light and engaging on a medium body. johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2008

BCA (From Southwick Brewhouse, BB Mar 07). Golden with full head. Hoppy nose - some citrus covered in dust. Good level of bitterness in the mouth with dry malts. The yeast is easily roused and on the second pour some yeast in the glass was unavoidable, this added, suprisingly enough, yeasty flavours which were not very complementary to the rest of the beer. luttonm (6767) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2012
Cask in the Forest of Dean. Golden ale with soapy, thin head. Sweet fresh cut wood and leaves, foresty. Body is bitter and light, not so refined. tart, growing bitter. Nice. TEJA (3262) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 25, 2012
Bottle at omhper, thanks.
High white fluffy head.
Small piny hop aroma. Nice and fresh hop taste and a medium semi lasting bitterness. BlackHaddock (7696) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2013
500ml Bottle conditioned: BBD of 10 May 2013, poured carefully into a UK pint sleeve 9 days before that date at home.
As the name suggests, this is a gold coloured beer, a huge white head sat on top.
The aroma was hoppy pines and grains with a yeasty undertone, as was the taste. Slight citrus notes also came into play as the beer warmed.
Refreshing and crisp in the body feel, this is a thirst quenching brew with enough flavour to interest me. Bitter aftertaste which lingered as the mouth dried.
