Cask conditioned handpump Market Porter London 16/05/12. A classic brown coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A sweet bitter. A grainy, slightly yeasty nose. Fruity flavours in the mouth. Very plain.

I like this brewery, so it was a treat to see them at Bedford Beer Festival. Dark gold/light brown with lively white head. Citrus and bread aroma. Lighter notes of toffee and astringency. Taste was all over the place. Sweet, bitter and sour in varying shades. Bitter/sour wins out in finish. Ok but not exceptional.

imdownthepub (14745) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with slight head. Sweet, malty, quite sugary with a grainy edge. A little over sweet for my taste.

TEJA (3101) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 27, 2012
Bottle at Björn, thanks. Thick off white head. Almost clear orange color. Medium and fresh american hop aroma. Fresh hop taste with litle but lasting bitterness.

Leighton (21477) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2012
Cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, off-white head. Some doughy malts in the nose, light toast. Light sweet flavor, kind of nutty with light caramel and subtle diacetyl, dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, faintly nutty now with some light, leafy bitterness and wet wood. Pretty mediocre.
