//Bottle from Cogo, drunk 8/5/16.
Good clarity, with sediment left behind, to this golden-flax colored beer. Big, foamy white head slowly recedes to cover.
Light coridander, white pepper phenols and bits of honey and light white bread. Clean, as seems to be the case from this brewer, with nothing flashy but also low on peach-banana-bubble gum (though some banana breaks through). It comes together homogeneously, with nothing dominating/out-of-place, though there is a bit more clove and coriander than I’d like. No alcohol/flaw.
Big, expansive, natural carbonation highlights the bready/starchy grains while also accentuating the peppery phenols and moderate yeast/coriander acidity. Balances quite nicely, though again, a bit more clove on the end than I’d prefer. But it’s got a good malt character often not seen in this style and doesn’t have an insipid bubble gum character that I dislike in many examples. Some light citrus, more grain, honey and pepper lingering with gentle to moderate acidity balancing the sweetness.

0.33l bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden body with a medium white top. Aroma of wheat, corn and a light fruityness. Taste is balanced. Some sweet wheaty, malty flavors along with notes of pastry and flowers. A very subtle bitterness to round it off. Light fruity. Moderate dry finish.

Bottle. Very light straw colour, slightly opaque. Light scent of wheat. Viscous taste but pleasant. Not a lot of freshness and somewhat thin. Ok.

33cl bottle from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Fruity and somewhat yeasty aroma with notes of citrus, unripe bananas, wheat and spices. Moderate sweet with a certain acidity and mild, but quite pleasant fruity and wheaty flavours. Medium body with a fairly average carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Nonshaugen (613) - Fetsund, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2015
33 cl bottle. At first you have an almost clear beer in the glass, but after shaking and stirring the bottle to get all the sediments in, it transforms to a delicious looking, hazy, unfiltered, bottle-conditioned wheat beer. Pale citrusy colour, one-finger slightly off-white head, beautiful lacing. Spices come through in the aroma along with the wheat malt. Nice carbonation, long lasting taste, and aftertaste, of citrus and coriander. Very true to the style in my opinion.

aleksander9 (1726) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 18, 2015
Hazy yellow with white head. Citrus, funk and wit-yeast. Sweet, coriander, and spicy finish. Overall: nice considering it?s under 4.7 abv.
