Nice aroma of fruits and nuts and chocolate - known as the norwegian milk chocolate "Fruktnøtt". Brown color, and cloudy. Really soft and mild and good. Dagrk (35) - Trondheim, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2013
God og fyldig smak av humle. Litt karamellsmak og fin rødbrun farge. Godt matøl og varmer godt i skrotten ;)

0,75 l bottle from the brewery, thanks to Kai. Pours lear deep amber with a huge frothy tanned head. Aroma of dark caramel, some spices as well. Taste is minimal sweet, nutty caramel which lingers to the finish. Nice easy drinkable brown beer. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 24, 2010
0,75L bottle, courtesy of gunnar. Thanks a lot! A tall fine-bubbled lightly tanned head, upon a near-clear brownish red body. Light ashy, dry caramelly malts on the nose. Some fine spice and fruit notes, and a whiff of earthy and peppery hops. Dry, medium strong malt body. A pleasant flavor of dark unsweetened chocolatey and nutty malts with a light sourish twist. A very light caramel sweetness beneath. Also a mild roastedness. Some earthy and lightly spiced hops in the backbone. Not very full, but balanced and complex. Powdery texture. Lasting malt finish. A very good Brown, and top end Norwegian ’groucery store’ beer. Furseth (2161) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - JAN 18, 2012

Flaske.
750ml bottle, brygg nr.42, from Fenaknoken. Light brown head that stayed well and left spotty lacing to the glass. Partly cloudy, dark-brown body. Aroma displays chocolate and caramel malts. Fine blended taste of brown malts, raisin hints and dusty hops. Rounded bitter sweet tail. Medium bodied. Pity that it is not more widely distributed in Norway. Would have been perfect with our traditional Yuletide food. (at my hotel room in Oslo, 25.11.2010). yngwie (17050) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 29, 2011
Bottle, 75cl. A gusher, producing an unclear, brown body and a foamy, two-finger head. Pleasant nose with roased malts, some chocolate and coffee and notes of hops. Big, malty flavor with chocolate, roasted malts and a little bitterness trying to bring balance. Not that it’s balanced, but it’s very tasty anyway. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A pleasant and tasteful beer indeed, but it didn’t bring thoughts of Christmas. Not that I will refrain from drinking it just because of that. 110311 ERB92 (739) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 2, 2014
Caramel, hay, grains, nuts and dried fruits in the aroma. Copper body with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall a good Brown ale, nice rich flavour. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - DEC 20, 2010
