COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

75cl bottle. Best before 2017-08-27. It poured an amber orange colour with a minimal white head. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy and fresh. Notes of tropical fruits, bread and malts. Flavour is sweet yet hoppy. Tropical fruits again, grain, malts, bread. Medium long aftertaste.

750 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a medium sized, lacing white head. Aroma is fruity with mild malt and a floral touch. Flavor is light malty, fruity in general, quite refreshing, moderate bitterness and slightly spicy. Fine balanced body and decent aftertaste. A nice, balanced, tasty and pleasant beer with a modest Sorachi profile. Nothing outstanding, but as the label indicates is a hybrid between different styles, and done in a nice way.

Bottle. A lightly hazy, dark golden colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Mostly fruity aroma, with oranges, mango and a faint spiced touch. Pale malts in the back. It’s smooth and a bit thin on the palate, with a very soft carbonation. Quite dryish. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, with a spiced, fruity flavor and some pale malts. Long fruity finish with pine cones and bitterness. Not bad this one, easy drinkable too. 151212

On tap @ What’s Brewing. Slightly hazy dark-hued golden body with a medium white head. Nose is freshly cut grass, red berries, melon, herbs, pale malts and hints of red fruits and citrus. Taste is wet grass, herbs, red fruits, pale malts, melon and hints of red berries and straw. Light body, medium carbonation. Nice, smooth and very drinkable pale ale for this year’s Nærbø festival. I don’t really feel the Belgian yeast too much, but the beer is still highly enjoyable.

Sigmund (8096) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2015
750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Moderate but lasting white head. Interesting hoppy aroma (Sorachi Ace and Amarillo), notes of lemongrass, orange peel and dill, some woody notes too. Medium dry and refreshing flavour, dill, mild spices and lemongrass, quite bitter and peppery aftertaste.

Behagelse ettersmak.
