Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Hazy deep orange colour, small beer. Aroma is yeast, some mild smoked fish, toast and wet burnt wooden notes. Flavour is mild farmyard, some earth, toast, wood and ends in a rather nice dry palate. Kind of hybrid between Saison and Biere de Garde. Stuu666 (13124) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 4, 2015

Cheers to Erik (bergstaden) for this one.Florya (2023) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 17, 2015
Into a snifter at just on cool. Head lifted up; a snow-white in colour - but fell shy of raising a foam. Hazy, dull orange with minute carbonation. Very farmhouse, raw, edgy; oatmeal and grist, pumpernickel fresh baked with a depth of warm rock cakes - Saison!? Yes. Zesty with a sourish, lemon curd edge lifted by flakes of oak, damp earth, vanilla and mild alcohol is the aroma. On the palate it is strangely reminiscent of a robust Dortmunder. Grainy, cereal-like with a hint of granola. Body is medium to medium-light. Carbonation is soft. Long length of fresh milled malted grain. Subtle citric notes in there late with a Noble hop depth. Well rounded and balanced. Lovely to drink, but more Export than Farmhouse. Not bad, judgement aside!!! (75,cL, Bottle #487, BBE 09/15)

The head is ok, the body blond & cloudy. It smells malty and yeasty, bit hoppy, yeasty-aromatic. The taste is yeasty, hoppy, intensive, nice.

Draught. Light lemon with a thin head. Aroma is dusty lemon. Nice zesty taste, jumps to tobacco and herb, zingy finish, dry with a bit of bread. Crottomann (4) - - SEP 27, 2014 does not count
Refreshing with hint of fresh grassy notes. Light golden and hazy, white head. No need to share the 0,75 bottle with anyone. Kjetilj77 (7) - Kristiansund N, NORWAY - APR 20, 2014 does not count

Small head, golden amber body, almost clear.
Nose; malts, prune, hops, plum, grass.
Fruity malts, plums, grassy wet hops, yeast, to the tongue.
Home made feel with hints of smoke, I assume that’s was yeast.
Alright bodied to suit a dinner.
Finishes herbal dry smokey malty. Nice brew.

I would like to recommend smaller bottles.
Bottle, thanks to Riita (Aniela), split at Colin and the Vikings tasting, Nol, Goteborg, Sweden 22/03/14.
Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is dark fruit mash, tobacco, spice, bready tones, honey.
Taste comprises dark fruit, hay, spice, candied fruit rind, lightly oxidised.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so, inoffensive but rather mediocre for the style.
