This was the first beer of the night. A massive bottle.
The beer has a very nice colour which makes you really thirsty! It tastes as good as it looks!
This is not the last time I am drinking this beer. Kjetilj77 (7) - Kristiansund N, NORWAY - APR 20, 2014 does not count
Trolig en av de alle beste øl jeg har smakt. Nydelig enkelt å greit... Sterk anbefaling

Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. 0,75 bottle.
Thick foam, cloudy and amber color. Grass and citrus in the aroma. No bad feeling from the belgian yeast. Delicate mothfeel, grass, citrus and herbs. Maybe Norways best Saison! 77ships (9774) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 11, 2013
Courtesy of tderoeck. Thx! 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. Pours a murky orange with a white head. Nose is orange peel and spices, thick malts, citrus and some hops. Tastes of bitter orange peel, lemon grass, quite bitter with bitter saison yeast, bitter zest, bitter flowers and white pepper. Carb. is a bit high. Quite an enjoyable saison, nice. Bottle. I get a magnificent-looking pour out of this one: hazy deep orange body with a massive creamy eggshell-hued white head. Niice. Smells nice, too: Belgian white candy sugar, yeasty peppery tones and subtle hints of citrus. Me like. Taste is a delicate balance of candy sugar tones vs. a continually growing grassy hop bitterness, which culminates in a semi-dry, fresh bitter finish. In between this graceful contest, I find oranges, pepper and hints of hay. A great saison from Espen Lothe here, well-crafted and highly tuned and balanced without being boring.

Tap at Grünerløkka Brygghus. I was served a tall glass of this murky, dark yellow stuff, with a thick, creamy, rocky white head on top. Looked like an ice cream float. Aroma is yeast heavy, light citric, some of that heavy wheat aroma with the sour tinge that comes along with it, fruity esters and light alcohol. Nice. Flavourwise, it’s well balanced between the sweetness and the slight sourness, a slight smokiness, and a pretty long, spiced bitter finish. Had a little bit of a skunky note to it as well. Some alcohol shone through when it warmed up. Velvet smooth mouthfeel with impeccable carbonation. This is great on its own, but also a very solid ale with food, especially the kind of food they serve at GB. Enjoyed it a lot. morri (277) - NORWAY - JUN 21, 2013
750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Medium tan head which vanishes quickly. Pale golden brown, hazy body. Fruity aroma dominated by apricot and flowers. Long lasting, well balanced taste. Aftertaste of metal and alcohol. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2011
On tap at Håndverkerstuene.
Rich and fruity. Apricots, bitter almonds. Dry mouth feel. Some spice and barnyard. Lovely beer. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2012

Nice cloudy golden apperance. easy to drink, but with a nice spice and a hint of smoke.
