Aroma of chocolate, soy sauce, coffee, brown sugar and nuts. Almost black with a red tint, tan head. Medium + sweet and medium bitter. Full body with a soft carbonation. Overalla nice Imperial Stout, not as rich as the style tend to be, but very enjoyable. Nice warming alcohol in the back.

06.08.2015. 0,75 l Bottle at Stuelands Abothek, Haugesund. Black colour with a low tan head. Unclear. Very soft beer with lots of aromas and flavours. Strong with a very rich body. Vanilla and oak. Sweet and soft with a moderate low bitterness at the end. Aftertaste is soft with dark roasted malts. This is a very rich and well tasting beer. Love it!!

Helt svart farge med tynt beige skum. Luktet av sjokolade og salt lakris. Fyldig og lite karbonert. Får litt portvinfølelse. Noe salt og bitter avslutning.

Aroma: Dark malt, dark fruit. Toasted.
Taste: Roasted, dark malt, dark fruit, slight sweetness. Slight alcohol. Warming and nice!

[ Trade by The Norway Crew ]. ABV: 10.5%. Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, licorice, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, molasses, chocolate, dark roasted, alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.

750ml bottle pours a very oily, opaque black with some clumpy, spitty, beige head. Nose has some fusel notes at first, rubbery, a little boozy, a little cakey, some licorice, some molasses, some heavy char. Flavor malt, some toast, a little chocolate cereal, some boozy, some cleaning fluid, some liquid smoke. Oily finish. Aged too much? Not enough?

This is a very complex beer with a lot of taste. I think it will get better after storing for some years. ( I have 4 more bottles in my collection) I look forward to taste it in the future.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2015 Pours black with a very thin but bubbly brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, licorice and tobacco with some alcohol and nail polish. Full body, oily feel, soft carbonation. Salty taste of wood, licorice, star anise and dark cholocate. Long, powerful and slightly bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2014 Svart med lavt brunt skum. Uvanlig store bobler i skummet. Aroma av alkohol, kaffe, sjokolade, lakris og røstet malt. Smaken er lakris, sjokolade og ganske søt. Tykk konsistens, oljete. Nesten null karbonering.
