roasty, chocolate, vanilla, black, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, fizzy. Beautifully black, appropriate white head that clings to the sides of the glass. Nothing special taste-wise, very light and easy drinking. High carbonation. Easy to drink I suppose would be the highlight here. melush (4486) - SPAIN - JUN 15, 2014
Botella de 33 cl, adquirida en Toyoko-Inn Chubu. Color negro. Sabor a malta tostada, lupulo, muy suave. jinroh (2129) - ESTONIA - APR 15, 2014
330 ml bottle from Takashimaya @ Nagoya Station. Pours black with a beige foamy head that is gone pretty fast. Aroma has a bit of mild roast, some watery hops and malt base. Taste is relatively smooth, a bit of carbonation attacking the tongue - but in general light body and velvety roast flavour covering the sensors. Somewhat sour mid-taste, transferring into longer slightly bitter and dry finish. Above average schwarzbier, quite drinkable but not that exciting. Westkyoto77 (636) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 4, 2013
Bottle. Jet black in the glass, frothy head. Faint nose of wet cardboard, slightly fruity. A little too much carbonation for mine. Not awful, but there are plenty more black beers that do more at the same price or less. KyotoLefty (10604) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 2, 2012
Draught at 1020. Nice shiny black, low head. Roasty nose, woof, light licorice, light coffee. Light, fruity, roasty flavors; rather plain but clean and nothing off. Light body with rather high carbonation.
