At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, quite clear dark orange color, shrubby green aroma with some biscuit in the back, sweet jammy and biscuit flavor with some herbal tea notes, light to medium bitterness. Drinkable but not too exciting. DSG (15403) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 8, 2016

Bottle at Takumi Craft Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a cloudy reddish amber with little life. The aroma is woody resin hop, light citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a rich, crisp, refreshing malt, resin hop, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Bottle with 7/04/2016 drink by date. Aroma: Earthy, herbal and banana.
Flavor: Caramel, Big dried fruit--orange, mango, maybe berry and banana and later orange on the finish.
Comment: I wonder if the banana character is intentional. Sweet attack is quickly toned down some by the bitter hop. Very concentrated malt. I didn’t expect this from a Japanese brewer. Like a double IPA/barley wine blend. The aroma is a bit reserved.

330ml bottle pours out a copper color topped with a tan sand head. Nose is old cereal malts and and a touch of grassy hop. Taste is pretty much all malts and a tad of hoppy bitterness on the end.
