Clear red brown beer, aery beige head, bit adhesive. Aroma: caramel, sugary, some dried fruits, toast, bit nutty. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: little sugary, bitter touch, some caramel, bit salty, toast, thin. Aftertaste: salty touch, mocha, umami, bit toasted, hint of dried fruits, bitter touch, but overall a watery impression. Too bad, cause the smell was so promising!

Medium tan head. Hazy opaque black body with ongoing carbonation. Fruity red beans aroma with toffee and caramel pudding notes. Dry-sweet toffee and rice pudding taste with grassy notes. Fullish body. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish fruity soy sauce aftertaste with licorice and alcohol notes. Nice, unusual, and harmonic. Very drinkable. (0.33l bottle, JR Takashimaya, Nagoya.)

Good appearance, smooth lasting beige head. Smells like not a lot but tastes with plenty of malt back bone and interesting flavour. Dark chocolate, soy, bread. Well balanced palate and carbonation but not a lot lasting after a mouthful. Good beer, very drinkable and suited to many Japanese dishes.

330ml bottle, pours a reddish copper colour. Nose of bubble gum and classic lager notes. Flavour is lightly raisin, dark matly, and even spiced on top of a dark lager base. I’d say this is interesting.
