(300ml, bottle 01/2010, courtesy of BMan1113VR) Pours a transparent body with descent legs. Aroma of almond, alcohol, and rice milk. Flavor of almond and light florals. Not much character or complexity.

JoeMcPhee (9550) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2008
Bottle. Aroma is lightly tapiocaish with a bit of pear and melon, but otherwise there isn’t a whole lot going on in here. Light black pepper and a bit of graininess.

BMan1113VR (7929) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 11, 2010
Bottle marked as bottled on 10/01 (January 2010). Pours with a clear body with strong legs. Aroma of koji, cherry, alcohol, dry and delicate, pear and anise. Taste is hard to get many descriptors from. Medium sweet, not exceptionally flavorful. Syrupy body, not much alcohol.

Sledutah (7837) - Utah, USA - SEP 23, 2017
Bottle at Epcot Japan
Clear. Aroma is woody, fruity, peaches, dry

Ernest (7817) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Bottle. No head (still). Body is colorless. Aroma is notes of potato, grain/rice, glue, alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, no carbonation, moderately to heavily alcoholic, lightly astringent. Pretty bad...typical cheap sake odors with some raw potato to boot. Not much to balance the sweetness, watery texture, and a hot/burning finish. The only thing nice about it is the bottle it comes in, sadly. Swill sake despite the price.

blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 11, 2010
bottle, thanks to bman1113vr, crystal clear with no legs, alcohol and coconut aroma, flavors of creamy vanilla, coconut milk, finish is hot

thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 24, 2016
This bottled Sake from a bottle shop poured a extremely small sized head of frothy medium sized clear colored bubbles that were very quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent clear colored body and no lacing. The strong aroma was green apple musty and mild vinous. The mildly vinous clean mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering vinous aftertaste. The balanced flavor contained notes of polished rice and vinous. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 26, 2010
(300ml bottled 1-10 thanks to BMan1113VR) clear, coats the glass with excellent alcohol legs. Nose of soft white peaches, nice alcohol burn, sweetness, cooked white rice. Taste of subtle fusels, sweet rice, mango with a slick medium to light dry body and a hot finish.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Thanks to bman1113vr for sharing this bottle. Very clear with some bubbles. The aroma is alcohol and rice with some citrus and floral notes. The flavor is more of the same with the citrus and alcohol standing out.

Being the first person to rate a sake makes a tyro like me nervous, but here goes - - The pour is crystal clear and thin, barely clinging to the sides of the glass. The aroma is newly mown grassess with a touch of musk melon and the warmth of alcohol. It’s not much thicker than water in the mouth, the alcohol only making its presence known by a light peppery feel on the tongue. The flavor is more subtle than other sakes that I’ve tried, mainly sweet grassess, melon rind, and a suggestion of banana, all warmed by the alcohol. The finish is fairly dry. Milder in flavor than most that I’ve tasted, I think this sake bears repeating.
