Poured a nice golden color. It had a fresh and fruity and citrusy flavor and aroma with a nice malty character in the flavor as well. Pretty nice and very drinkable, but why P-A-I-L?

On cask at Great British Beer Festival, day 3 on 6 August 2009. Very cloudy. Yellow / amber colour. Some orange peel on the aroma. Something rather odd in the flavour that I can’t quite put my finger on. A bit sweet and fruity. The mouthfeel is soft and rather dull. Clearly not in peak condition. Flagged for re-rate.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Pale gold with white head. This was a light, fruity, tangy beer, very tasty and crisp, well brewed and very drinkable. The Brewers were rightly proud of this producing consistently good beer.

Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 Pours gold with a smattering of loose bubbles. Nice aroma with some floral notes detected. Refreshing, bitter and crisp, nicely hoppy tasty beer, uncomplicated, some sweet soft citrus flavours. Likeable. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, orange, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Semi hazy light amber colour with a decent off white head. Good hoppy snout but from there on it is struggling badly. Pretty rank chlorine and plastic notes spoil what is clearly pretty good underneath.

harrisoni (19553) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2009
Cask at GBBF 2009. Gold/amber, hazy, lasting beige head. Some definite hop on aroma, but losing it’s condition. Very soft in mouth. Decent hop, ok if condition isn’t great.

TBone (18561) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2009
[email protected] 2009. Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Sticky fruity hoppy aroma, some blood grapefruit. Odd fresh wood flavors with some sweet notes. Very unbalanced flavor. Aftertaste is slightly better.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2009
[email protected] Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, wood and some slight spices. Flavour is fruits, wood, some floral hops as well as mild grassyness.
