Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Probably the most pleasant beer of the evening, but when I survey the elements the score doesn’t add up to a very high score. Initial flavour was nice - thin, reedy hops, with balance. Drops off a little on the finish, into salty malt. chriso (7583) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2010
Cask (handpump) at the Great British Beer Festival, 3 August 2006. Bright gold colour but low condition. Pleasant fragrant, hoppy aroma - quite orangey. Clean, fruity flavour. Crisp, refreshing and tasty too. Good.

Cask at GBBF08. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is fruity with a little nice hop bite in the finish. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2008

Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits and wood. Flavour is much the same. Nicely balanced, though not containing that much.
Clear golden with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and citric notes. Sweet hoppy flavor with caramel, grapefruit and toasted malt. Ends bitter.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A yellow beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet flowery hoppy with hints of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong notes of fruit, flowers, citrus, and hops, as well as lighter notes of caramel. The body is thin. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Cask (GBBF 2006): Golden with a white head. Dodgy sulphuric aroma. Some nice hops in the background to distract you from it though. Grassy and refreshing, but the eggs put you off. Svesse (8682) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2006
(Cask at GBBF, London, 2 Aug) Colour is golden yellow with a frothy head. Nose is fruity with grapefruit and a citrussy, slightly grassy hop aroma. Taste is fruity, with balanced flavours of citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and tropical fruit (pineapple). Nice golden ale with a lovely hop character in the finish. Refreshing. harrisoni (18970) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2006
Cask at GBBF 2006. Sunarise, early in the morning, eh Kook? Gold with disappearing white head. Hay hop aroma. Some juicy malt. Some decent hop too, bit earthy. Could be some Cascade hop? I thought that it was different and interesting. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2006
Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A golden coloured beer with a citric lemony hop aroma. The taste is hoppy but there is that creamy nasty texture that I find in a lot of English Summer ales. Shudder.
