Aroma: 4 skunky ordinary
Appearance: 3 good for a pale lager. Not creamy enough
Taste: 6 metallic, somehwhat bitter, malty sweetness, flat, not complex
Palate: 3 watery
There’s no limit to how beautiful these cans can be. The photo here does no justice to this fabulous presentation. I wish they could be as dedicated to making better beer.

Tallboy, bought at 7-eleven cross from Holiday Inn Express SoHo Hong Kong. Pours a rich yellow color. with much fanfare of a white head that disppears before you’re ready to take the first sip. Aroma ihas good bitterness but a corn malt backbone. Flavor is decidedly bitter and rescinding metallic. Lubiere (14121) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2015

Can from Lawson. Clear golden pour with a nice white head. Grain, wheat, soap. Light to medium body with nice carbonation. Seems less bitter than when this first came out many years ago. It has a sweet malty/grainy taste vs the bitter name GuideDogSaint (1690) - Xiamen, CHINA - FEB 3, 2015
330ml can from a supermarket in Shenzhen. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Malt aroma Bitter sweet finish. At 6% slightly better than average. Wombata (625) - Kobe, JAPAN - SEP 23, 2014
Can from Lawsons.
Aroma: Floral & earthy hops, lightly roasted grain with some "pear"-like malt sweetness
Flavor: roasted grain, bitterness and clean, light-malt sweetness go back and forth on the mid-palate, finishes slightly bitter.
Comment: With more malt, the perceived bitterness seems a bit toned down on the finish compared to Kirin’s regular line up. Still the carbonation and bitterness gang up on the tongue on the front end. I remember this being a bit better in the past. . . .

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2015 2014: A good annual offering available for only about 2-4 weeks in August and September each year. The 2014 variety feels a little less polished than previous years’ attempts.
2015: Pours a sexy color and holds up as a solid beer drinking experience with the malt flavoring and higher alcohol. That said, maybe it tastes a little riper than previous years. petewhitley (570) - Nagoya, JAPAN - NOV 17, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2014 roasty, smoke, golden, clear, white foam, light sweetness, light body, sticky. Nice sweetness to the nose, which somehow does seem to evoke "autumn" flavors. Somewhat deceptive however, as the body is so light it’s difficult discern the flavor nuances hinted at by the aroma.
