I got this in Taiwan as Mild Taste. It’s okay. I would say the taste is mild for sure. It is golden with a foamy head. It is a bit gassy and grainy in a pretty pleasant way but not too flavorful. It’s medium bodied but pretty light with lower carbonation for the style. It’s pretty decent for cheap beer. futre7 (238) - Taipei, TAIWAN - NOV 30, 2014
Not as malty as the standard Ichiban. Thin mouthfeel. Mild carbonation with minimum lacing. Bland fruit, grain, cardboard with mild hops and a medium malt taste. Overall not bad but not as good as the standard. samparkique4 (59) - - OCT 26, 2014

5% A crystal clear deep gold with a soapy looking white head that vanished almost instantaneously. The taste is surprisingly grainy yet wine like and a bit sweet. Thin to watery body with a bit of a sharp carbonation. The taste is sweet, winey, grainy, lightly hoppy with some cardboard. Passable for happoshu considering it was a buck I guess... yenbeer (188) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 11, 2014
Drank the 2014 iteration. Light on every account, almost no flavor. Easy to drink, but equally pointless.

Grain, herbs aroma. Sweet malt flavor, mild hops, sweet finish. As stated on the can, it has a pretty mild taste, but goes down ok, probably less nasty than the average happoshu faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 13, 2013
Lata. Nice can. Bought at a local "suupaa" in Yanai-shi. Clear yellow colour. Mild aroma of grain, minerals and light malt. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour is mild with mineral, some grain, mild malt, light bitterness. Easy drinkable. GoufCustom (2004) - HONG KONG - FEB 1, 2013

500 ml can labeled “Winter Limited Edition - Mild Taste”. Pale amber gold colour; Medium head and white foam which lasted for about 2-3 minutes; Slight lacing and active carbonation; Smell of malt, bread, grass and slight hint of wet cardboard; Low sweetness with taste of malt, bread and light citrus. Medium body; Pretty oily palate; Hop bitterness minimal but very subtle near the end; Slight dry after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: Compare to another seasonal limited edition “Kirin Ichiban Shibori Toritate Hop 2012”, this one is mild and subdued on many aspect. Its aroma, taste and hoppiness are not as expressive as the former, but as the can label advertises as mild, it does the job just right, plus it‘s free of rice and corn makes it more likeable among adjunct-laden Asian macros. Still, I like the tasty Shibori Toritate Hop more.
Can from local convenience store. Daisan (third category) brew. Big bad sewer stink. Very light straw color, with a creamy white head. Harsh grainy initial; and most of it disappears almost instantly. Thin body. Pretty innocuous for happoshu.
