Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, corn syrup, flowers and grain.

Appearance:
Clear yellow/golden beer with a slight/medium white/off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts, corn syrup and flowers; ends slightly dry with grain.

Overall:
This beer is crisp and clean. You can definitely notice it is brewed at Weihenstephan. Obviously it lacks in so many areas, but it is a pale ale; so what is to be expected.

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Inch-thick white head, quickly reducing to a thin ring with a small amount of lacing. Clear, pale golden colour. Light body, soft/average carbonation. Aroma of malt and yeast, somewhat fruity (yellow apple/banana). Taste is fairly dry, a bit papery/metallic, balanced by a discreet fruity sweetness. Mildly bitter finish.

Pours yellow golden, medium big lacing head. Aroma grass, floral hops, hay, sweet malts. Palate is soft, mouthful. Carbonation is medium soft and lively. Taste is sweet, grassy, watery. Finish is sweet and dry, slightly medium sweet malty floral hoppy end. Rather simple pale lager but quite good due to balance of sweet malts and dry herbal hops flavors. Drinkable.
