noelcb (271) - Toledo, Ohio, USA - FEB 3, 2006
Light gold color. Scant head, no lace. Aromas of malt, miscellaneous grain, maybe rice or corn, citrus, yeast and a tad of hops. Flavor was well-balanced, slightly malty and some noticeable hop flavor and bitterness. Tastes all-malt but no toastiness or sweetness. Slightly sour. Reminds me of Ortliebs or Carling Black Label, for those who remember. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 3, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2006 Special premium reserve indeed! Such that its in convenience stores urbanlly everywhere! Hoppy tasting for commercial widespread lager. Nice finish. (Note: much better in the bottle.) ebarnes (261) - Beech Grove, Indiana, USA - FEB 2, 2006
12 oz bottle. There is really not much difference between Sapporo, Kirin, and Asahi. All 3 are Coor’s light type clones. I mean come on, do you expect rally good beer from Japan? No, of course not. You expect good food! kreepindeth (404) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 31, 2006
Looks and tastes much like a Budweiser or a Fosters. Slightly more bitter finish than a Bud. Nothing special about this beer, just another pale lager.

typical pale lage, perhaps a bit creamier than some. drink cold, if it gets warm discard Quixote18 (236) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - JAN 31, 2006
Absolute crap. Possibly the worst beer I’ve ever had...and I’ve had a couple of doozies. In short it was the same as all the other macro pale lagers...except somehow worse. OK here goes:
Poured from bottle into a tall lager glass. Pale gold color with a fizzy, short lasting white head. This beer seriously smells like urine from some undistinguishable animal...possibly a nocturnal mammal. After waiting a bit, it opened up to display a LITTLE malt, mixed with urine of course. At this point I’m really beginning to think that this has been "recycled". Do I actually have to put this in my moputh??? Dear God this tastes aweful! A few sips and I was done. DRAINPOUR. I hope my septic tank bacteria will actually consume this crap. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 28, 2006
Bottle. White disappering head. Clear golden body. Malt aroma. Thin hops flavor. Tickling feeling on the tongue. skortila (5873) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JAN 27, 2006
Well this one is actually better than expected. It has a grassy and grainy nose with some soapy hopelements. Clear, golden-yellow coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter with a watery body. Carbonated, just a bit hoppy, and mainly grainy. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - JAN 25, 2006
From an 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a "Freshest Taste Within 180 Days Bottled Date," 27/Sept/05. Made an average appearance, poured a marco lager golden with a small foamy white head that slowly reduced to a fine lacing. Had an macro lager aroma,
grassy, rice grainy and pale malts, like a Budweiser. Moderate carbonation and
a slick light bodied mouth feel, easy
drinkability. Had your basic macro lager taste, a little grassy hop bitterness,
some rice graininess, bland pale malts
and a crisp finish with some grassiness
lingering in palate, smooth tasting
overall. This is your average macro lager in all aspects. Purchased as a single for $1.00 and I believe I was slightly overcharged considering what a six of Budweiser goes for.
