330ml bottle. Slightly grainy aroma other than that very little. Typical lager appearance - golden with a white head. It has a neutral type of taste with rice and mild bitterness prominent in the taste. The mouth feel is smooth and the drinkability is very high. There is nothing that really stands out with this which would make me want to seek it out

This one poured a light amber colour with a big foamy head. Little lacing. Scents include stainless steel, light vinegar and antiques. First swig was very thin with flavours of apple juice and dank basement. Finish is lightly apples and tea.

Pale straw like lager with a decent malt presence and a refreshing bite. Poured from a bottle into a glass, which is a rare move for me whilst drinking beer. Recommended by fellow beer sommelier (LOL) Burra. Acquired from Morrisons supermarket.

Quality is good, but it’s a Lager, so it tastes flat and watery compared to real beer, but compared to its Japanese peers it’s among the best.

I alternate between Kirin and Sappora when dining out at a Japanese food restaurant. Kirin Ichiban is my current favorite.

Tap at Kamai, Oslo. Sure it is smooth but there ain’t much else going on here.

The first palate is ok. But after the initial taste it tasted old. Sapporo is better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @Wagamama. Pours golden clear, white head. Nose is bland not bad just very little to go on, slight grass/hay some sweet rice. Taste may be more bland than the nose which is saying something but then again it was not bad and good with spicy food.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2017 Weak white head on top of a clear golden body. Into smells a little skunky and metallic. Bubbly on the palette, but a little bland. A good beer but not an exceptional one. Better in my memories.
