Tinned, 500ml, at Wagamama’s Reading. Pale gold with white head. I’d forgotten this one. Thin, corny, malt lager with little hop character. Some sweetness, quite tinny, metallic. Doesn’t really appeal.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden. Aroma of adjuncts and chemical notes. Flavor has some corny notes and a drier and slightly bitter finish. Light-bodied.

A pale lager with a thick collapsing white head. A lightly herbal malt aroma, lightly hopped. In mouth, run of the mill lager, with light German hops. 500 ml can from japan, thanks Karl.

(Paired with sushi) Clear golden body with small white head. Aroma is light and sweet, some bread. Taste is light, sweet and watery. Minimal bitterness that's in the swallow. It's not bad, but it's certainly not worth seeking out.

Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2008
24 ounce can. Pours a clear golden color with a large billowy head, decent head retention and lacing. Very rice-like, sweet aroma with some very grassy, almost metallic hops. Taste is tart and bitter malts along with bitter hops. Sort of a gummy bear fruitiness is in there too. Clearly rice is used in large quantities here. Medium bodied.

It is just not a noteworthy beer. They only time I have ever had it was at a Japanese restaurant and it was boring.

Pale yellow with a small, fizzy head that dissipates quickly. A slight hint of fruit and hops in the aroma. Starts out very slightly sweet then turns bitter. Dry on the end.
