This is the best beer you can often get with sushi. Don't drink otherwise!

shithouse beer, easy flavours, i picked up some rice on the aftertaste, pretty boring, not the worst, but pretty darn crappy.

Disconcerting yellow. Tall head. Brothy, yeasty aroma. Brothy, metallic, bitter flavor. Nothing to suggest that you should pay a couple of extra bucks for this over a domestic lager.

It's beers like this that fuel my disdain for pilsners......................

Aesir (130) - Tustin, California, USA - SEP 11, 2002
Not terrible considering this beer is associated with Anheuser Busch, but not great. It's got a little of that dry Asian beer tast. But the flavor is still lacking.

Brewed in Los Angeles. Typical Japanese beer flavor. Somewhat metallic, and an old flavor. Need to drink this one very cold.

Not a big fan of the Ichiban, thought I have to admit it hits the spot when eating good Asian food!

Whatever, it was made in California by Busch. This was the blandest of beers. Incredibly thick head, took 10 minutes to pour out of bottle. Wasn't worth the wait.

Boaring macro impression of a japanese lager. Find it funny that it is listed as Tokyo when it's brewed here in the U.S. Poured a light golden yellow with a small head, aroma was weak and grainy with a taste to match although there was a hint of maltiness that gave it an extra point or two.

Bottle bought in Kyoto, Japan. More watery than many others, but it does have a little bite to remind you that it is beer.
